Green Glass

6" X 6" oil on board

With the weather too dark and wet to photograph some recent paintings, I found this one that I forgot to post previously.  It was a nice surprise, kind of like when I found this green glass at the Salvation Army...not expected but a pleasant find!

I love the clarity of the green glass in this, Dana - what a great find!

I want to paint more glass. I was at Goodwill looking at all the stuff I could paint. I have to go back and pick somethings up now that you've inspired me!

I like the green glass, too! It glows! And I like the shading on the flower petals!

I know what you mean about it being too wet to photograph paintings, too!

Great job Dana. My great find of the day was finding the skyblue you slipped into that white daisy... not expected but oh, so pleasant!! Well done!

Le rendu de votre petit flacon est absolument cute tout comme l'ensemble de cette peinture qui avec toute sa simplicité est très délicate...

Love the power of the simplicity! Gorgeous shadows on the Daisy. That one area of reflected light yellow/green on the table is such a sweet spot!

I LOVE green glass! I have a few pieces and keep saying I need to go 'junkin' to find some more! This painting is fantastic! I love the yellow green reflections that you captured! The transparency of the glass is remarkable! Always a pleasure to come see what you've done!!

This is so lovely - contemplative, as lots of your work is!
