Ishael

8" X 8" oil on Raymar panel

I was fortunate to spend my day at the Randy Higbee gallery in an open studio session painting.  We had two beautiful models, a still life set-up, and an amazing lunch all the while getting to paint with artist friends...as an artist it doesn't get much better or more fun than that!
Thanks for a great day Randy, hope to do it again soon!!

  2. I do like it, now that I can see it!! ;-) I really like the colors and the modeling of the face. Was her neck really like that? She needs to relax! Or gain weight. LOL

  9. Dana,
This is a beautiful portrayal with such sensitivity. I love Ishael's eyes and her skin tones are beautifully done. Really like the highlights on forehead and her sculpted cheek bones.
