6" X 6" oil on board

  3. Beautiful! I love purple pansies and these do look just like velvet. I also love the little container. Great reflections and highlights on it.

  4. Dana,
I really like the way you painted the pansy petals. Wonderfully fragile and each one such a beautiful shape. The colors in this are very pleasing! Also like the way you painted the vase with the value changes and the reflections are sweet!.

  10. Nice overall color harmony. Spring around the corner? You must have beautiful sunshine and warmth all year long. We're still buried in snow, here in NH.

  12. Lovely! Spring is my favorite season, but it's always so short here in VA. However, as hardy annuals, the pansies are often a reminder of spring all through the growing season...love them!

  14. First of all, I'm completely jealous that you have pansies at this point.... ;0
But you really nailed that silvery surface, as well as those delicate, fold-y petals... good job!
