Shortest In Front

6" X 6" oil on board

I usually wouldn't choose this for for a composition, but based on where I was standing with other artists, this was my view.   The garlic was particularly fun to paint because of all the color in the skin.

  1. Gorgeous colors! I love all the shades of green! Really lovely with the whites of the garlic and oranges of the onion skin.

    That garlic makes me think of a baby bunny.

  3. I've been a little distracted lately, so I haven't been posting many comments - but, I've still been following along when I could. You know, the shortest may be in front, but it's that blue splash in the back that makes the whole thing POP. You handle color so well. I always have to sit and study...
