Daily Walk

11 x 14, oil on board

The reference photo for this piece is a woman from
 Leh, Ladkh.

After seeing the beautiful portraits done by talented artist Taryn Day from the wonderful photography of Steve Evans, I contacted Steve about painting from his photos and he generously gave me permission.  Thank you Steve for allowing us all to come along on your travels!

Please contact me for information about this piece.

I see to love playing in the grays lately...coincidentally it is the same palette as the painting below.

  2. She looks a beautiful business woman. Love her outfit and her purposeful stride. The palette is lovely and I love the hint of light blue in the wall behind her.

  3. Love your gray palette. The reds in this stand out so well against it. Love your pooch painting too. The cutest!

  4. Beautiful. Love the grays. I, too, have been enjoying Taryn's portraits. I had the opportunity to have lunch w. her in September. So great to meet fellow blogosphere artists. Hope you and I can get together again!
