Balboa Morning

8x6, oil on board

Balboa Island is a little jewel on our Pacific coast.  I love walking around and seeing the slice of life  Americana that exists there.  This is one of the pieces I submitted for the "Small Treasures" show at the Debra Huse Gallery on the island...fingers and toes are crossed!

  3. Great little painting and it brings back foggy memories.
I lived for a while on Lido - next door so to speak! No, we were not rich, but the company my hubby worked for put us up there for a few months in the early eighties.
I never got used to waking up thinking it was raining...the fog!

  4. What a lovely beachy type of piece, Dana. Your perspective and proportions are amazingly handled.
